Today we had a fanfic writer on the show who talked with us about many things. We discussed Rainbow Dash’s sexuality (or lack thereof), military bronies sporting Fluttershy shirts, and providing our adoring and awesome fans the references they desire to ship us to the moon and back. Afterwards we talked about how to better ourselves through reading and how not to write a painfully bland Nightmare Moon fic. And as always, our fans are awesome and much brony love. *BROHOOF*

I think it’s because there’s only one guest. (: It’s a lot easier to hear everyone’s opinions and comments.
During the discussion of episode 6, at about 14 minutes in, it is mentioned that Rainbow Dash is essentially Lauren Faust’s own character Fyre Flye.
I thought it was worth pointing out that while dash is indeed based on that character. Firefly is an actual character from the G1 series that Hasbro lost the rights to, hence it had to be changed. It just so happened that that was Lauren Faust’s favorite character from G1 and she used the name for her DeviantArt page.
Small thing really. Great show though! Keep up the great work.
The fanfic section was incredibly helpful; I only picked up writing fanfics a couple weeks ago, and I’m trying to improve as much as I can.
My current project has a lot of hay I have to figure out; it’s a crossover with Okami, so the most obvious thing I haven’t mulled over enough is how exactly Princess Celestia, essentially as goddess of the sun, will interact with her canine counterpart. Thus, shameless plug for Tails from Two Worlds!
