Today we welcome the return of Season 5 and the end of yet another hiatus. I tell ya what, we’re getting pretty good at not burning everything down in-between show breaks. Have to say, I’m impressed. Cider is away doing boring, real life stuff so Sandy, Alpha, Scope and I talk about the new episode and then we get to playing some Left 4 Dead. It was great fun! Be sure to watch for Scope’s precision grenade launching as well as phase-shifting. I’m pretty sure he is The One.
Its that time of year again, the leaves are changing color, the air is getting cooler and Sandy is wearing his con-chair stetson. That’s right, it’s Oktoberfest The road to Nightmare Nights Dallas! For the next few weeks we’ll be chatting with guests of honor leading up to the this year’s convention. This week we have the Based one, Josh Haber! He stops by to talk about everything from Equestria Girls 3 to Star War: The Force Awakens. We even hear about his work on Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ. Seriously. He worked on that. Learned something new didn’t ya?
Apple Cider, Five Iron, and Sandy conduct this hostful while Scope and Alpha are off at Bronycon. While we’ll have some footage from the con for you here soon, here is us three losers talking about small horse while not at the biggest con in the fandom. Alas!
Our long march to actually getting every episode in our backlog ends! We’ll have everything you need by the end of this week so do not fret! This week we brought on the Bronies For Good, Notably Rommel and DJ Clacos stop by to talk a little about how batty they were for this weeks episode. That’s all. No going to subject you to further bat puns. I want you to still hang around after all this.
PS – Show notes can be found on the following Google Doc.
Hey gang, thanks for stopping by to see the site. Not sure who linked us over to EQ but we knew it was either going to be us a few episodes down the road or someone was going to give us away. Not that I mind at all – great to have a bunch of new listeners and friends to talk about our latest obsession hobby.
The two newest episodes are below so please check them out. RSS feed is on the left or by clicking this here link. I submitted the podcast to Apple last night so if you are an iTunes user you can expect to see the show appear there within the next few days. I will likely make a big push with a few sites in the next few weeks to spike iTunes traffic in our favor and give the podcast and the MLP:FiM community a boost in the TV channel on iTunes. More on that when it comes.
From myself, Chef, and the rest of our rotating list of panelists – thank you!
I’m always willing to offer a helping hoof to any on the community and especially ones that are in the same realm as Bronyville. Equestria Daily ran a news article a few days back about the Diamond Dogs Podcast. Going to give those guys the customary first listen and the ED patrions seem to agree that the second episode is better. Here’s to hoping the same for us.
Oh, and DD guys. We’re the Big Macintosh to your Applejack. We did post several days before you. Just sayin’. 🙂
Setting up this WordPress blog for our upcoming podcast. Will take me a few days of configuration to get the site stable and get the first podcast published. If you have any ideas, want to offer a hand, or just want to be neighborly and say hello, shoot me a mail at email@example.com. I’d appreciate it.
